Material and Coating Alternatives for Modular Tanks
  • Stainless Steel Tanks

They are generally modular water tanks manufactured by using AISI304 quality stainless sheet. Depending on customer request, they can be manufactured out of AISI316 or equivalent stainless sheet. They are in full compliance with food and drinking water regulation.

  • Hot-Dip Galvanised Steel Tanks

Tank parts manufactured out of deep drawing sheet are completely galvanized. No welding is conducted on it that will damage the galvanize. They are usually used as potable water, irrigation water and fire tank.

  • Painted Steel Tanks

Depending on the usage aim, tanks manufactured out of deep drawing sheet are painted with: epoxy (with solvent), primer+ Epoxy (without solvent)+ poliurethane based paint +industrial paint+ using powder paint
technologies.

In order for the paint to be permanent and durable, the plates are subjected to surface preparation processes in painting facilities which are latest technology product of Meksis. Besides, the TANKS can be produced as "COMPLIANT WITH THE FOOD REGULATION AND HAVING HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE" by being coated by 'MEKCOAT' ve 'MEKCOVER‘ coating methods.

  • GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Tanks 

Tanks produced out of glass-reinforced polyester can be manufactured in line with the Food Regulation to be used without any problem for years and as having high corrosion resistance.


Tank Assembly Forms
  • Externally Assembled Modular Tanks 

When tanks are assembled from outside, a minimum assembly gap of 400 mm should be left around the tanks.

  • Internally Assembled Modular Tanks 

When tanks are assembled from inside, there is no need to leave a gap around the tank.

  • Hybrid Assembled Modular Tanks 

Some surfaces of these kinds of tanks can be internally-assembled while some others are externally-assembled. They are very practical and have large usage area.

Tank Base Forms
  • Bottom Seated Modular Tanks 

These tanks are placed on a flat ground. If requested, special 'plastic grid' or "special membranes" can be placed between the tank base and the ground in order to break the contact between the tank and the ground.

  • Modular Tanks Assembled on Feet 

These kinds of tanks are placed on prefabricated feet. There is a gap under the tank where any person can fit in and any kind of interventions can be performed. In these kind of tanks, it is possible to discharge the water and sediment accumulating under the tank completely.
